Loved the dressing. Just be sure to chill the shrimp or it's weird tasting warm.

I absolutely hated the dressing. It was inedible. The shrimp was ok, nothing special. The one redeeming thing about this salad was the croutons. They were delicious. I am a big fan of Ellie Krieger, and I have her cookbook, but this salad was disappointing.

This is one of the few recipes that I can honestly say you don't miss all the fat. One of our very favorites.

As Ellie said on her show, he husband is a ceasar dressing snob, well so is my husband. This was OUTSTANDING! This is my new everyday dressing recipe. I added a liltle extra parmesean cheese and it was perfection. I think I will try roasting the garlic before adding it to dressing. I am sure that will be spectacular too-Thanks Ellie!

This is one of our favorites and a staple. I had no idea what went into Caesar dressing but THIS is incredibly good. The anchovy paste and all the other ingredients are perfectly matched. I wouldn't change a single thing! I have made it with the shrimp but also grilled chicken breast and seared salmon. The dressing is the key! YUMMMMM.

I was suprised at how yummy this was. I have never used egg sub in dressings before and was worried that it would have a "fake" flavor. But all the ingredients melded so nicely together. My only suggestion is to not salt the dressing due to the anchovy paste already being there. I LOVE having a healthy alternative to the storebought dressings that are full of preservatives and chemicals.

Love the Caesar salad and shrimp (didn't make the croutons. My husband and I are big Caesar salad fans (I order it in just about every restaurant I go and this was among the best. The only change I made was to reduce the anchovy paste by just a bit. The big news is that my husband, who is not a big seafood lover, loved the shrimp! The big bonus is how easy this is to make and how delicious the recipe makes the froze shrimp. I love eating the still warm shrimp on the cold romaine. Most of the ingredients are in my pantry already or have a long shelf life, so I don't have to run to the store every time I want to make it. Thanks Ellie! Love your book -- I've made and loved so many of the recipes. I hope to see you on FN for a long time to come.

Unfortunately this recipe did not turn out well for me. Perhaps caesar dressing is something I need to just eat and not make myself (so I can forget what goes in it and focus on the good flavor. I love Ellie's recipes, unfortunately this one I threw out after I made it. It tasted like egg substitute and anchovy paste to me. I would suggest skipping this one, but checking out many of her other great recipes!

We've made this recipe several times and really like it. We were so surprised at how good the dressing was and how plump and juicy the shrimp were. Its been in the rotation for several weeks and hasn't got bumped yet.

My family really enjoyed this salad including my 12 yr old daughter. I was really surprised with the egg product, but it worked very well. I didn't have anchovy paste, but I chopped up a couple of canned anchovies which worked great..
