Absolutely delicious! I had dried cherries but no cherry jam so I used Black Raspberry/Blackberry jam instead. It worked very well with the dried cherries.

The dried cherries were great in the oatmeal but the oatmeal was bland if you didn't have a cherry in every bite you took. I would still make it agian. I used fruit only spread so maybe more sugar would have made it taste better.

Excellent. It's hard to find recipes to vary up the morning oatmeal. I thought this was great. I never thought to add jam to the oatmeal. I always use sugar or maybe maple syrup. I also bought a bag of dried cherries from my Sam's Club and tried them for the first time. Pretty good. They make a nice snack, too. Thanks Ellie for keeping us healthy with your recipes!

I really liked this recipe. Every cherry I bit into was like getting a treat. I added 1 tablespoon of sugar though. Next time I am going to use 1-2 packets of splenda. Since this recipe makes 2 servings, I discovered that the leftover serving is really good the next day. I actually started making the oatmeal a day in advance so all the flavors have time to blend. Thanks Ellie!

I typically like Ellie Krieger recipes but I didn't enjoy this recipe as much as other ones I've tried. I'm not a big oatmeal eater so that may be the reason why. If you really like oatmeal this might be something you would enjoy. But for me there was not enough flavor there.

I really liked this. Good way to start the morning. I did add a little more jam than called for though.

Good but quite bland as is. Definitely needs some sort of spice (cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, etc.
