I made this tonight and it was GREAT!!! The chicken was tender, juicy and full of flavor. I used Newman's Own Marinara Sauce and fresh parmensan cheese - did take one short cut by toasting the multigrain bread in the toaster then the food processor, instead of making the bread crumbs then toasting in the oven with no problem!!!!

I have a hard time even finding good chicken parmesan at many "Italian" restaurants. But this! It is not even fried and it tastes SO good! It was a hit with the whole family. I will definitely be making this again!

Before making the recipe, I had never cooked anything--seriously. Recently becoming a Food Network junkie, I decided to give turning on the oven a try to surprise my boyfriend who has never seen me make anything more complex than a PB&J (he normally cooks. One of his fave Italian dishes is chicken parm and he LOVED it and so did I; some of that satisfaction came from the fact that I didn't burn the house down. Really though, it tasted GREAT! I used whole wheat Panko and sliced chicken breasts that were already thin so I didn't need to pound. He said it tasted better than a lot of restaurant dishes he's had of this...I didn't mention it was healthy until after he had finished. Everything went off without a hitch and the dipping assembly line wasn't even that messy! Tasty, easy and pretty much perfect!

I made 1 pan of chicken parmesan and 1 pan eggplant parmesan with the same recipe. Both were DELICOUS! I got rave reviews and will definitely make again. Just pop the bread in the toaster before making into breadcrumbs and no toasting needed. Quick recipe too.

I made this last night and it was wonderful. I have always liked to cook but since I have been unemployed I am becoming more and more interested in it. I didn't have to buy many ingredients for this since I have most of it in my kitchen and it was very easy. I will definitely make this again.

Instead of baking the breaded chicken in the sauce, I drizzled the spaghettie sauce over the chicken (I was afraid the breading would get mushy if I drowned it in sauce. Then I used grated block parmesan and mozzarella cheese, like Ellie did, and it was so delicious. I feel like using real cheese made all the difference. I couldn't help nibbling all day. I can't wait to make this recipe for my daughter's birthday party.

Very easy to put together, without much time spent. Flavors were good, both cheeses gave great flavor. I used Italian flavored bread crumbs from the store shelf. I will cook this again.
