I bought some tomatillos at the Farmers Market and was wondering what to make with them. l saw this episode and decided to try the recipe. It took a little time, but was actually very easy to prepare. The flavors were very rich. My husband and I both got compliments on how good our lunch smelled when we brought our leftovers to work the next day.

i roasted a pasilla pepper and the jalepeno. that was my only tweak to the recipe. oh and i did cook the chicken about 10 minutes longer than stated here. i will make this sauce over and over and use it for pork and huevos Ranchero too.

This took quite a few more ingredients than I would normally take time to get but this was worth it! My husband and I liked this very much.

I just watched this show today and had to print it to cook it tonight! It looked fabulous, and I love that Ellie incorporated tomatillos into this recipe. I absolutely love her recipes! Thanks so much!

So far, everything I have tried of Ellie's has been great and this was no exception. Lengthy prep, but can be made ahead and worth the wait! Recipe made a lot of sauce, so I froze some!

I tried it once, not again. The recipe was expensive, took too long to prepare, and looked worse. My family would not even try it. This is the very first recipe of Elle's I have tried and not loved.
