I LOVED this recipe. Thank you Ellie Krieger!!!! Everything was wonderful!! I went a step further and instead of serving on the skewers, I served it on Butter Lettuce leaves. To achieve this I thinly sliced the chicken after cooking, garnishing and resting. I also thinly sliced some carrots. To finish: I put some of each the chicken & carrot strips on the lettuce leaf and drizzled the peanut sauce over them. Then wrapped them like a burrito. My family LOVED this!!! Adds some veggies!!!!

This recipe turned me on to Ellie and now I'm a believer! It's the best Chicken Sate with peanut sauce I've ever had. I made it once without the fish sauce and it's still delicious. Thanks Ellie!

Love this recipe! My family commented that they can eat the chicken on its own (the marinade is amazing!, but the dipping sauce is superb! Yum!

Excellent! Loved this recipe and so did the whole family. Serving on skewers adds a fun twist and made serving chicken much more interesting. I would allow more than 20 minutes for prep though - with all of the ingredients and making the sauce, it took a bit longer for me to prepare. (plus the marinade time

Looks tasty, but I think it is miscategorized. This was listed in the diabetic appetizer section. As a diabetic I do not add processed sugar to any of my food.

I had to use powdered ginger & garlic because I was out & used yellow curry powder but everything still tasted fantastic! I'm excited to try it next time with everything fresh. I would make this dish for guests & be proud of it! My husband loved the peanut sauce (made with Jiff peanut butter! & he's very knowledgeable about food. I tasted the coconut just fine, & didn't measure anything just added to taste & was fantastic!
I also have 2 picky eaters under the age of 4 & they both LOVED it! They've never been exposed to Thai food before but it didn't matter. Definitely a keeper!

really flavorful. can't honestly judge the sauce as i didn't have the curry paste. it was OK without it but might be better if i had that ingredient.

I did not use the fish sauce or the pepper flakes. This is one of the best tasting peanut sauces we have ever had. I highly recommend this recipe.

both the marinade and dipping sauce were easy to make. My question is why do we need the coconut milk because that flavor was nonexistent. The dipping sauce seemed really thick after blending so I just added more broth & lime juice and that helped without making it runny.
