I brought this salsa to a BBQ and it was gone in no time. Everyone wanted the recipe. I've made it at least 5 times since. Delicious!!

I made this for my boyfriend, my twin sister, and myself, and we all loved it! It has the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Try it!

This dish was awesome. I made it this evening because her show reran this past weekend. I followed everything except I used 1 1/2 jalapenos in mine. It came out great, with more than a little heat. Instead of making the salsa, I poured 1/4 cup of pineapple juice into the sauce. Between that, and the ginger, it tasted great!!

To everyone that said they'd think about serving with rice next time, I did exactly that, and used the rest of the pan sauce over the jasmine rice I cooked. It tied everything together nicely. I will definitely make again.

The salsa was fantastic! I'd eat that alone, but it was a nice compliment to the spiciness of the chicken. I got a little afraid and only used half of a small habanero, and thought it could actually have stood to be a bit spicier (and I don't even tolerate spicy things very well. Overall, a really refreshing summer dish.

We tried this and loved it! It tasted so fresh, spicy, but not too spicy. I think next time though, I will use the sauce as a maranade and grill the chicken. That would be very yummy with the pineapple salsa.

I thought this recipe was excellent. Ellie's book, The Food You Crave, has tons of great recipes. This is the best one I have tried so far but all are very good. Buy it! The whole family enjoys the healthy recipes. Be careful with the habanero, half may be too much depending on your taste. It leaves your mouth glowing.I served it with jasmine rice and crusty whole wheat bread.

    Thanks, Ellie.

Made this tonite for supper and it was delicious. I think the salsa can stand on its own as a salad. Thanks for another wonderful meal!

I lived in the crown jewel island of the caribbean and travelled to Jamaica alot and this isn't quite exactly the real Jerk Sauce I was expecting, but it was very, very good.

I followed the recipe exactly and it was a very tasty meal. The salsa really made it delish! Such a refreshing salsa and I highly recommend using the MINT!

In addition, I made brown rice and that added some volume to the meal. Yummy.

I would stress - be careful of the scotch-bonnet a little really does go a long way and wear gloves! Get rid of the seeds! HOT HOT HOT!

My mother and i just made this for dinner. it wasnt our favorite dish ever... but it was okay. We did have to improvise a bit. We didnt have scallions so we used regular onion, and we didnt have thyme so we used a herb mixture of dried thyme, rosemary, and marjoram. We suggest cutting the chicken up in little chunks, and then adding to the pan with all the other ingredients rather than putting the whole breast in. Probably wont make again... but might try it with some adjustments.

Definitely a keeper and i will be making this again. First of all for the salsa. It was definitely very good. The only thing i did differently is i did not add any mint. I really really do not like mint. Maybe next time some cilantro would be nice. I was worried about the sauce on the chicken being to hot since there wasn't a lot of sauce. Well i didn't think it was hot at all but i love hot things. If your sensitive to heat maybe use 1/2 jalapeno or some sweet peppers if you can not take heat at all. The only thing i thought it was missing is some type of starch. Maybe some brown rice would have been nice?
