I have made this four or five times, and everyone really liked it. I barbecued the chicken, made some interesting sides, and everyone was happy! Plus, quite a bit of sauce was left over.

I love this BBQ sauce. If you love mangos and tangy, sweet sauces, this one is a winner. The flavors are great, especially if you get a really ripe mango. I make mine with more peppers for more heat. but it is versitile.

Ick this was so nasty! Sorry but there hasn't been one thing that I have tried of hers that has been something we would want to repeat..I just don't like her taste in food..Sorry there's better recipes out there and just as healthy..

Overall it was just ok...Not spicy enough and not at all like a BBQ sauce...The mango gave it a nice sweetness but it just wasn't enough...The flavors were exactly what the sauce looks like: muddy.

I kinda tweecked it a little. First, I used mango puree instead of a whole mango. I left the sauce chucky instead of blending it. I also added some splenda for a little more sweetness. After that it was really good......One more thing, I used chicken thighs instead of breasts.

I featured this recipe on my food blog at http://damegoodeats.blogspot.com/2010/09/chicken-with-mango-barbeque-sauce.html where I talk about how I feel about it and what I did with it

I thought there was entirely too much vinegar in this recipe. Next time I will use only 1/4 cup and maybe up the molasses a bit as well. Otherwise, this smelled delicious while it was cooking and probably would have tasted delicious if it weren't for the strong acidic taste.

I love Ellie recipes but this just wasn't that great. I'm surprised no one has commented on how it looks - which is a NOT VERY attractive brown sauce. There are tons of Ellie recipes we rave about, but this recipe was not one of them. And I followed the recipe exactly.

I've made this numerous times because my family likes it, but honestly, it's not that great. The BBQ sauce has a strange flavor. If it weren't for my family, I would never make it again. Don't expect it to taste anything similar to regular BBQ sauce. Yes, I know it's mango, but it's just weird!

I love this "barbeque" sauce. It doesn't really taste like traditional barbeque sauce but it taste so good. It was pretty easy to prepare, (even with chasing after a two year old. It smelled great while I was cooking it and when it was done, even my picky husband ate it. It was that good. I will cook this again!
