Not as flavorful as I would have liked- but after I added some extras it was very good!

Very tasty! Better Alfredo sauce than most of the restaurants I've been to, although I did have to add some of the water to loosen the sauce up a bit but that's all to your preference. Grilled my chicken separately with a summer seasoning blend, which made the chicken nice and flavorful. Substituted zucchini with snap peas once too.

Didn't think this worked that great...less flavor and smoothness to the sauce than normal alfredos so it wasn't as satisfying :-(

Super yummy. I will be making this again. Instead of using chicken, I broiled some shrimp. Sooo good!! I love Ellie's recipes.

LOVED this! I added a bit extra garlic because we like things really flavorful and sliced crimini mushrooms for more "meat." I was so happy to finally find a "lightened up" recipe that actually has flavor. This will be a staple in our home!

I added chopped sundried tomatoes, cajun seasoning, and crawfish to make a healthier version of cajun alfredo. Muah!

This was very good! My husband loves an alfredo sauce I make, but it is very rich and fatty. He doesn't like any store bought sauces or boxed recipes either. He absolutely loved this sauce! Wonderful way to add veggies as well. I used zucchini only the first time, then changed it up added squash and mushrooms. Must try!!

I hope people don't mind the 'alterations' added to comments. I made this with these changes: I cooked onions and green peppers with the garlic in the beginning. Then, the zucchini, then the chicken. But in the sauce, I didn't have a can of evaporated milk, so I used 1/4 cup of single cream, or normal cream. I also cut up about 8 sun dried tomatoes, and mixed everything together. For the big change, I put these on top of 4 small pizza crusts, no pasta. The taste was amazing with the tomatoes!!
