I had it in lettuce wraps rather than tortillas to cut the calories. It was fresh and had a sweeter flavor (from the cinnamon than I'm used to with beef. I totally overcooked it, but the flavor was still good.

I made this for my husband and 4 small children and we all loved it! I thought the steak could have used a bit more heat as I didn't think it was really spicy but then again that was probably a good thing as my kids were eating it too. I loved the avacado/cucumber salsa, I think that is what really made this dish fabulous. I will be making these tacos again and think that next time I will also use chicken just for variety.

These were delicious and so easy! Only change I made was decreasing the cinnamon to a pinch after ready other reviews. LOVED the cucumber/avocado salsa. Will try this with chicken tenders. So satisfying and fresh. Thanks Ellie!!

I made this for my husband and my roommate this evening and they both loved it. The meat itself was good but combined with the salsa it was amazing. We truly enjoyed the recipe, and I will be making this for my family and friends at least a few times a month.

We love this recipe, it takes a little time to make the salsa but you can do that while the meat marinades. The flavors go together great!

The steak turned out great but the avocado salsa was a real winner. I make this very often now to go as a side dish to anything and everything. It is truly delicious!!!!

This is seriously delicious, folks. This is now on my weekly rotation. I have made this recipe before using beef, pork and now chicken and they are all equally delicious. The rub is to die for. I personally think it has the perfect amount of cinnamon. I always use the bagged slaw mix for the cabbage since it's so convenient. I also crumble some Ranchero (a white Mexican cheese on the tacos and I use my own homemade guacamole instead of the avaocado salsa. Don't be fooled by the fact that this recipe is light and healthy. Give it a try, you wont be sorry!

Rub was excellent. I added tomatoes to the 'salsa' and it was very good.

This dinner is so fast, easy and delicious that I make it a few times each month. My extremely picky 12 year old loves it and I love the hint of cinnamon. It gives it a very interesting flavor that makes you go, "hmmm, what is that?" I also like the cucumbers in the guacamole. It gives it a refreshing snap. Best of all, it's easy to make and since you only have to splurge on 1 steak, so I always buy the best.
