I made five batches of this recipe for my French class and it was a huge hit. I subsituted half of the dark chocolate for semisweet and it was perfect. It even remained suitable for dipping until sixth period! I will definitely make this recipe again for friends and family.

My family liked the dark chocolate taste of this rich fondue. The only complaint I had was the thickness. More like fudge as it cools. I would suggest using more milk in this, or some other liquid to make is easier to dip things into.

I liked the idea of a healthier version of fondue, but this one was a little too bitter and thick for my taste.

This is so delicious, we thought the bitterness and sweet was just perfect. Also dipped pears in this and drizzled it over angel food cake. Does serve 4, as it is very rich. This would be great used as a lower fat ganache too!

So easy and yummy..with antioxidants as a bonus. Dipped bananas, strawberries, pineapple and dried apricots.

This was very easy to make, but was very bitter - way too bitter for my family. I even used a lighter chocolate for the last step (61% and it was still quite bitter. The fruit does sweeten it up some (the bananas are the best!, but I would definitely try to sweeten it up more next time.
