i felt like it was missing something. the missus didn't eat it, suggesting that it seemed like something that would be good with something else (like a dipping sauce. i would tend to agree. it was also a bit runny - the tomatoes struggled to stay on top.

I found this soup to be rather ho-hum however my boyfriend said he really enjoyed it. I added slices of avocado to mine as well but I still felt as though it was missing something and needed a more interesting flavor.

I added two gloves of garlic and about 2 TBSP of fat free sour cream. It added another layer of flavor that helped make it super tasty!

I hate cold soups, but I loved this one! Even my anti-healthy food and anti-vegetable husband ate it. The plain yogurt flavor was a bit sharp for my 5 year old. I will definitely try using greek yogurt to help with that. Would also like to add a drop of fresh lemon and see if that adds a little spark to the flavor.

Not only is this recipe tasty and super super easy, but it's also beautiful to look at, so be sure to serve it with Ellie's tomato/oil/dill garnish (in that order.

I made this soup and it was very good. I added my own little twist to it. I give this soup a 4 out of 5

One of the easiest, tastiest cool summer soups to make. I've made this at least 3x since I saw the episode. I've modified the recipe a few times --added greek yogurt to thicken the consistency ... delicious! An all time summer favorite!
