This was excellent!! I am going to make a big batch next time and store it for multiple uses. I didnt edit anything. Also, I had made this for 4 big steaks and just barely had enough to coat them all the way through. It was perfect this time around but next time I am making a bigger batch. nom nom nom

Simple, tasty, and the only ingredient I had to get from the store was the steak. I substituted freshly ground italian roast coffee and chipolte chili pepper because those were the things I already had. It came out wonderful! I will definently make this again!!

    Love!
I used teaspoon of 4 different hot spices, 1/2 of regular coffee, and kept the rest of the ingredients the same. Was fantastic and super easy. Plus the sirloin I used was cheap and good. I'll do this again for sure. I paired it w/a salad and sweet potato baked fries. YUM!

I LOVE this recipe. I couldn't find the cut specified, but I've used both chuck steak and petite sirloin with this and they both worked fine. The coffee is strong - I increased the amount of the other spices, and included both ancho chili and chipotle chili powders, as well as some ground cumin and coriander. SO GOOD.

Hy husband used this rub on Salmon for our Valentine's dinner. It was out of this world! He used regular coffee as opposed to espresso, so perhaps the coffee flavor wasn't as strong as some raters have specified. I absolutely love it!! We froze the left over rub, and I can't wait to use it again. It goes very nicely with roasted cauliflower and potatoes. Yummy!

The family really enjoyed this one and my husband Loved it! This will definitely go into our repetoire. I used decaf instant coffee (Taster's Choice as they come in packets that equal about a teaspoon and a half. That worked really well.

I love coffee rubs (I used French Roast, fresh ground, fine. This one turned out perfect for us. I did brine the meat for one hour also.

I tried this on some sirloins and honestly it just didn't have much flavor. Maybe I didn't use enough, I'm not sure, but I won't be using this recipe again. There are too many better ways to flavor a steak.

This steak was delicious... I cooked it on the outdoor grill. I also tried only half the coffee, but will use the full amount next time because I only had regular coffee (not espresso and the coffee flavor could be a little more prominent.
