    Too many ingredients to even try this recipe! I want the true taste of CRAB not a bunch of other stuff! Won't try these!

    Great! I made these the other night and thought they were excellent! So did my family!! It did take a bit longer than 30 minutes in the prep time but well worth every minute! Never even made Ellie's sauce for dipping, did need it!! Enjoy!!

    I agree completely ! I am looking for a good crab cake recipe and this one seems to fit the bill. I will try it (based on your rating---after your wee rant--and then will let the world know how I like it !

    How could two people comment on crab cakes, one that she had an orange marmalade, which has absolutely nothing to do with the given recipe, duh!
    And the other person how much she hates mayonnaise. What in the world does that have to do with rating the recipe????? How do you give 5 stars to a a recipe when you don't even mention if you made it??? I made these and they were wonderful as is all of Ellie's recipes. Crisp and so tasty! For goodness sake people, make the recipe and let's not comment what you don't like about foods that have nothing to do with the recipe.

    I have had crab cakes with orange remoulade sauce that was excellent! It appeared to be nothing more than orange marmelade with horseradish sauce mixed in.
