Made this with shrimp, instead of crab. Just chopped the shrimp. Was fabulous. A great combination of flavors. Another winner from Ellie.

Great recipe. The wontons were easy to make and a great idea for other appetizers. The crab mixture was really good. I also made it ahead of time and worked out perfect. The lime dressing worked well with the crab. I would definitely make again.

Used fake crab, left out the salt, found the flavors & appearance wonderful. Second time I made them, I flipped the mini muffin tins over & smoothed the wontons over the humps. WAY faster and it leaves you with perfect openings to fill just before serving. Bake minimum time with the pans upside down! I agree with folks who worried about advance mixing of the lime juice with the fish (possibly "cooking" the crab.

Fabulous appetizer! Made this last night for the family and everyone loved it. I did make a few changes. Not much of a sweet/savory mix person so I did not use the mango. I also did not have celery or cilantro so left those out. I did have red peppers and avacado so I diced them both into small pieces and added in. The lime flavor was perfect! I also loved the wonton cups. I will use those cups for all types of appetizers in the future.

The only complaint I have about this recipe is that it rated as an intermediate recipe. I have never made something so simple and yet have people rave about it, as much as this recipe. A little time consuming yes, but difficult no. I have made it twice for food fanatics & it is the first appetizer to go

Took this to our annual block party; doubled the recipe and they were all gone in 10 minutes with rave reviews. Fresh and healthy tasting. I was short on time, so the flavors didn't get much time to combine as I would have liked (didn't seem to bother anyone though. Next time I will make it the day before so it can marinate over night. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

Want to empress a crowd...this recipe is the one!! Very easy and fresh tasting. I had to serve 24 ladies for a bridal shower and everyone said the cups were soooooo empressive. VERY VERY easy to create and make the salad. I did use imitation crab (big crowdto save a bit. The cups should be made early in the day of party and add mixture just before serving. I made dressing day ahead and the salad the morning of the party so the lime wouldn't "cook" the crab.
