The flavor is very "spinach-y," so if you eat creamed spinach to cover up the taste of spinach, this is probably not the recipe for you. Texturally, it is very creamy, so it is satisfying in that department. I tried this as a way to use up some leftover evaporated milk, and it was a successful experiment. I'll add a little more nutmeg next time.

Love "Creamed Spinach w/Nutmeg" sprinkled over top,not stirred into it.Such a Healthier version than grew up enjoying.Who knew that Evaporated Milk is a "secret" ingredient? 1% milk is on hand, plus Anyone who never liked cooked Spinach, give this "twist" a try.Frozen helps not rinsing for grit in Leaves. As for the question,"where is/are the 'other chefs&cooks',now"? On a sister station that is "supported" by this Network.Chef Chiarello,Ellie and Others.Someone needs to Advertise Where to Locate.Yet,this is about the Creamed Spinach.Delicious!Good for You Mono~unsaturated fats worked in too.Never miss Anything, except loaded Kcals. No "numbers" per serving found for this recipe.

This recipe is so delicious. Why has foodnetwork take off ALL the good chefs??? You havetaken off Ellie, Tyler, Big Daddy and Michael Chierelli. All the good chefs. We have too many Ina's and Paula's. WHY??????? And why ask INA??? What happened to ASK AIDA???

Was Ok, but lacking in flavor. Perhaps fresh rather than frozen spinach would help.
