This recipe is a great crowd pleaser. The dried cherries gave it a surprising and pleasant taste. The kids really enjoyed it too.

This is a great alternative to the traditional rice crispy treat. This recipe is fast, easy and tasty. I did have to modify the recipe...I only used 4 cups of the brown rice crisps in order to have them covered completely. They do fall apart a bit so eat them over a plate. Enjoy.

This was so easy & fast! I used dried cranberries instead of cherries and it tasted so yummy!! Tastes nutritious too!

Very good. I used Hazelnut butter because of our family's peanut allergy and chocolate chips instead of cherries but it was delicious and very easy.

I just made a batch of the Crispy Rice Treats for my daughter, who loves the traditional treats made with marshmallows and butter. She gave this one a thumbs up, and said Ellie's recipe is far superior!!! It came together in a flash, too. Thanks Ellie...I've enjoyed making several of your recipes and they are all fantastic! I would have given it a 5, but they do not stay together very well. You have to keep them refrigerated. Taste it great and I will also try this one with other dried fruits.

These were so good! Worth time to make.
They did not stick together well.
Fell apart too easy. Keep in fridge to help keep together.

These were delicious! BUT mine absolutly did not hold together like hers did on the show. I think I must have needed more sticky stuff or less cereal. I might try a bit more honey next time. Taste wonderful though!

ok, i love Ellie. i appreciate your insights and intelligence and for the most part she hasn't done me wrong. but BEWARE: this recipe is a disaster. i followed it to the letter only to discover that the cereal does not bind with the honey/peanut butter mixture. the proportions are way off. it doesn't cut into squares easily and if it does, they all come apart...cereal everywhere. waste of money, waste of time. ugh.
