This looked really good to me because I love cucumbers and dill. However, the amount of salt it calls for is ridiculous. I should have gone with my first instinct NOT to put in that much. But since it was the first time, I tried it and it was so salty I could not enjoy the flavor of the cucumbers, dill and vinegar. I am going to try this again with a lot less salt, or possibly none at all. I didn't even offer it to my husband because I knew he'd hate it. There is so much left and I dread the fact that I need to eat it so that it does'nt go to waste.

I enjoyed the cucumbers more just snacking on them plain than after they were drenched in the salt. I followed the directions exactly and rinsed it throughly after 20 minutes but I really didn't enjoy the saltiness that was still left. I will probably make again but will leave out the salt completely.

This salad was easy to make and very fresh and cool. The dill was an especially nice touch. My husband loved it!

Try it with rice wine vinegar and no sugar or dill.

This is the best cucumber salad that I have ever eaten. The recipe is absolutely perfect. Make sure to wash out the salt prior to adding the final ingredients.

Great summer salad that is light, tasty and refreshing. Perfect for a summer BBQ side salad or to bring to work.

I love this! It's not as tart as a pickle, but it gives the cucumbers a slight flavor...this is my new favorite salad!

This was wayyy too much dill for me - I couldn't even eat it. Next time I will only use half the dill (or less! and it will probably be great. I just can't tell because all I can taste is dill!
