Great Receipe: I love cumin so I put extra on the chicken.

I don't have a grill, so just baked the chicken and it STILL came out amazingly delicious! I made no modifications to the amount of spices and it was perfect! I will be making this one again!

I cannot believe one reviewer would say they won't consider modifying the recipe.

We have made the recipe probably five times now. I find the answer to most people's concerns on flavor is that you need to just add more spices. Typically I use the quantities noted for 1.5 chicken breasts instead of the four noted. This gives it that strong cumin taste. Basically the side of a chicken needs to be well coated - like the picture. We just could not replicate it without increasing the ingreadients.

After the modification... it has been awesome.

This was terrific - quick and delicious. I pulled back on the salt a bit and added a pinch of chili powder for a little more heat. Rice and salad on the side and voila! happiness on a plate! Thank you, Ellie.

I love the simplicity of this chicken, and when your hurting for time, this is just the ticket. Plus it tasted good too!

Took me about 5 minutes to prep and 15 to actually cook. My husband loves anything with a mexican/latin feel. He really enjoyed this recipe and he enjoyed that it took me very little time to prepare!

It tasted like just regular chicken, the cumin gave it a slight smoky taste but other than that, it would be good on a sandwhich.

I loved this dish! I don't cook chicken that often, so I was looking for a very basic dish that I could make for lunch (with a broken hand. This chicken was tasty, flavorful, juicy, and delicious! I added some ginger (since cumin is part of the ginger family for a little kick, and I used the leftovers in a great salad the next day! 5 stars!

We liked the flavor of this chicken. I, too, put plenty of salt and pepper on the chicken and then put on the cumin in the amount I thought we would like. It was very tasty. Unfortunately I served it over the broccoli slaw which we did not like.

I loved the simplicity and taste. Next time I'll cook more to have leftovers for a sandwich or salad. For those who complain about lack of seasoning, try this. Season BOTH sides of the chicken breast with salt and pepper to taste and let it stand a few minutes. Then rub in the cumin and carry on. I can't imagine that anyone wouldn't like this, unless they do not like cumin, which I love!
