I'll be the first to admit that I thought Ellie had lost her marbles when I saw her prepare this using tofu. I just couldn't see the connection between soybeans and chocolate, BUT THIS WAS FABULOUS! Rich, creamy, delicious and most of all healthy. I used Splenda instead of sugar, so that was just an added bonus for me...and my waistline. This was my first time tasting and using tofu for any recipe. This was truly and incredible dessert.

This mousse was delicious and easy to make. I made it for our memorial day bbq. I didn't tell anyone that it was made with Tofu and they all loved it!

I?ve made this three or four times. Use a good chocolate and good tofu otherwise you may end up with an after taste from the tofu. If you use good ingredients most people won?t know it has tofu in it. The brandy is nice but I prefer a mix of cocoa liquor and coffee liquor.

This mousse really is creamy and delicious. I have never prepared any dish with tofu, so this was definitely an experiment. It was totally worth it, and I will definitely make it again.

I made this slightly different, I used 1 tb mint liquor and I cut the sugar in half and used semisweet chocolate instead of the bittersweet. I also added 2 egg whites beat with hot beaters (as someone else suggested and 1/4 cup sugar. It does need to sit for 2 days in the fridge to get the mousse texture and taste but by then it is so good my mother couldn't tell the difference between mine and her full fat version!

I never used tofu in anything before and was delighted with this recipe. It is more of a rich pudding then a mousse but is still very good.I didn't have any brandy so I substituted an orange liquer. Served mine with the whipped cream and fresh raspberries. My guests ate every bite!

I have made this at least 5 times now and everytime it's great. I can have my chocolate guilt free! I've even added half a mashed banana and sprinkled with crushed pecans, de-lish.

Very good, but the bourbon is essential, or something to mask the off tofu flavor. Didn't have any on hand and there was an off aftertaste. Everything else was great.
