I made these with my kids (ages 3 and 5 and they love them! I especially like that the recipe has alot of steps that kids can help with, which makes them more likely to eat them. I individually wrapped and froze them, and they thaw very quickly--I just throw a couple in the bag on the way out the door. I would like to try to make these with a little lower sugar content, so might try substituting prunes for the dates, and SF syrup for the regular. But they are great just as is!

This recipe was quick and easy to make. I subsituted dried cranberries for the apricots. I didn't realize something good for you could taste so good.

Good recipe, and it works to be able to keep them in the freezer.

Loved them. Even for an inexperienced cook they take less than seven minutes to prepare and turn out beautifully. Now I always carry one with me so I don't resort to eating junk when I'm on the go.

I went to the bulk/health food store and bought most of the ingredients for these bars and I think the dates and apricots from some exotic place...anyway they were delicious. I love the fact that they can be individually wrapped and froze. I added the flax seed as well and made sure to use the good grade maple syrup. I will be making these a lot!

Although I increased the maple syrup, these were still bland and disappointing. They ended up in the trash.
