I was hesitating about making the recipe, but it was really simple to make and fast, I didnt have white onions so i used red instead, i like those better too.....and i used a large one.... the sauce was really good... and i used this as a main dish so i needed some kind of meat.... so i added shrimp.... it was the best... everyone at home loved it... i will make again for sure

This dish was absolutely delicious! I would encourage anyone looking to try this recipe not to give merit to the negative reviews because there is nothing about this dish that warrants their complaints. No, the sauce is not smooth and creamy like Alfredo, it does have a courser texture. And for those who say this dish was bland, then you must be a smoker and ruined your taste buds because this dish is full of flavor! If you do find the sauce bland for some strange reason, then take some initiative and try the suggestion from other reviewers and add red pepper flakes or Tabasco sauce. Honestly, it's like people expect someone to hold their hand through the entire process. No one recipe is going to please everyone, you have to tailor it to your taste preferences. For my husband and I, though, this dish is perfect just the way it is! I could easily see us making it once a week!

First thing is that this dish has convinced me that I do not like wheat pasta. While I probably won't try this recipe again, if I did, I would use good old regular pasta. Also, the sauce was a little lumpy, no matter how much I processed it, and it was strong. Just not what I was expecting.

I thought it had a rather blah flavor. I think some chicken pieces would spice it up. My husband said he would certainly eat it again.

I like feta, but the flavor in this sauce was too strong for me. The sauce also got dry pretty easily, so I would suggest substituting some of the feta with milk or something mild and creamy. Overall, this recipe was okay but I probably won't make it again.

This dish was SO delicious - it had such a great flavor, and really gave me something different and exciting to spice up the week's meals! I ate while watching a chef show, and it was SO nice to have such a nice meal while watching people cook :- It even pleased the men in the house - two twenty-somethings - who ate the entire dish. We had no leftovers!! Thanks again Ellie!!

Best served immediately, but I managed to get four additional brown-bag lunches out of the cold leftovers. Please keep up those wonderful recipes, Ellie!

We thought this was really tasty! I halved the recipe for two of us, and added some grilled zucchini to it. I also added about 1/4 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes, and about 1/2 tsp of salt. It was a nice twist on traditional red creamy pasta sauce. Will make again and serve it with grilled shrimp or scallops.
