I am a big fan of Ellie's recipe's but my family and I really thought that these fish taco's were just average. However, we all thought that the chiptole cream sauce was really good. I will not make the fish according to this recipe again, but I will definitely make the chipotle sauce again.
For the sauce I used low-fat plain greek yogurt and it turned out really good and was easier to prepare.

Made fish tacos for the first time using this recipe and they were delicious. I followed the recipe exactly but didn't have a grill pan, and it didn't matter one bit. I couldn't believe how simple and delicious the chipotle cream sauce was. I served it with cilantro lime rice. I thought it was a really fantastic dinner and so did my husband.

Prepared these last night for my wife and I. I used cod for the fish and added a little lemon zest into both my marinade and the Chipotle cream sauce. Turned out to be one of the best and easiest recipes ever. Definitely will be a crowd please when we have guests next time.

The recipe was great in spite of my mistake at the grocery store. When I bought the plain greek yogurt, I actually purchased the "orange citrus" flavor. I chose to believe I was going with the mango salsa type flavor and it worked perfectly. My husband loved it. However, I am curious to know what it tastes like with the plain greek yogurt. My husband said to quit messing around with something that tastes so good. Love him! So next time, who knows what I will do!

Delicious! I substituted in plain greek yogurt and used a tablespoon of chipotle peppers because I like the flavor and spice. Squeezed lots of lemon juice at the end. Very yummy! Even my non-fish-loving boyfriend enjoyed these tacos. Next time, I might make the back-home-in-Texas taco staple: chopped onion and cilantro with lime juice to put on top.

We modified the recipe in several ways: we used lobster meat that we marinated (almost like ceviche. We used a lot more adobo chipotle peppers than the recipe called for, which added a lot more flavor and heat. It was delicious! We would add avocado and a side of rice and beans next time.

This was very good. There was about double the amount of cream mixture needed. The fish was excellent!

Pretty good, not sure if it's a keeper though
