COULDN'T FIND THE CAPERS @ MY LOCAL SUPER BUT HAD EVERYTHING ELSE. THE RED PEPPER FLAKES ADDED A NICE LITTLE BITE. WILL TRY IT OVER RICE NEXT TIME. LOVED THE TASTE. MAYBE WILL GET THE WIFE & KIDS TO TRY NEXT TIME.

Really great taste. Green peppers and celery are alternate vegetables to use, and really taste good with a mild fish.

This recipe takes rather boring white fish (I used Blue Hake and transforms it! The wine, spinach, and onion balance the little zings from the capers, indulgence from the olives (Kalamatas are richer than lesser black olives, and body from the tomatoes. The crushed red pepper completes the flavor ensemble.

We thought this recipe was very easy and very tasty - made enough for 2 dinners for DH and myself. We used tilapia, as that is what was on hand, turned out beautifully. One recommendation - either make the fish after the sauce of keep the fish in a pan in the oven to keep warm. I did cover the fish in foil while I made the sauce as suggested in the recipe, but DH said the fish was cold :( BUT, that did not keep him from scarfing it down!

This was actually easy enough for my husband to make! He used talapia and added garlic to the recipe. It was amazingly delicious!

made this last night after watching show, not bad topping for fish, don't really think that it would work as well for chicken though
