This layer dip is so great! Definitely for party goers, it's gone in a flash. I didn't add the jalapeno and it still had a kick because of the chipolte peppers. YUMMY!

I made this for a 4th of July party and had several people tell me how fresh and delicious it was as compared to the usual refried beans, sour cream layered dip. I made it without the cilantro and used some canned green chiles instead of chipotle and it was still awesome. I making it again for a party tomorrow!

I made this dip for a party and it was a huge hit. I personally am in love with it, too, and make it occasionally just for a treat. I love that I feel healthy eating it, too. One thing I did differently was roast the tomatoes in a pan-I am weird and don't like raw tomatoes, but it give it a kick, too. Thank you Ellie so much!

I made this dish for a family game night and it was a hit. I was a little reluctant because the ingredients seem minimal, but not the case. Unlike my husband and I, my family don't like spicy food so I didn't add the jalepeno pepper, but the chipolte gave it just enough kick. I also added some sour cream to the avacado to help it spread better. We're planning a Mexican dinner with some friends and I will definitely make this again.

Made this dip for a Cinco di Mayo party at work--brought home an empty container. Everyone loved it, and no one missed the sour cream or the seasoning package. Thank you, Ellie Krieger!
