This is my favorite margarita and the only one I make at home. It is delicious and healthy! item not reviewed by moderator and published
I used cheap tequilla and cheap triple sec.....these were still delicious!!!!!! item not reviewed by moderator and published
These are delicious. I made them for a few friends that I was having over and everyone commented on how good they were. I used fresh mangoes that I had put in the freezer after being cut up. I also used regular sugar because I can't get it where I live. I dont use the full amount of ice water, but adjust to the thickness of the margarita. The recipe says it makes four one cup servings, but I found it made much more than that. A little extra tequila helps too. I will continue to make these until mango season ends. item not reviewed by moderator and published
This is the PERFECT summer drink. The frozen mango (i use trader joes acts as the ice cubes. The only change I made is to use regular sugar as I dont have superfine. Dont change anything. I have been making for two summers and just had to review! item not reviewed by moderator and published
Although this recipe says it serves 4, in our case, it meant two, because we didn't use the 2 cups of ice water, but some extra ice cubes instead,(who puts in ice water? it seemed weird) but the results were just TOO RICHLY MANGO, and it took me all night to nurse half this recipe. The good news is, using Patron and Cointreau results in a headache-free morning, so that was a great thing. item not reviewed by moderator and published
We had a margarita night for New Year's Eve and the Mango Margarita was definitely the highlight of the night! It tasted amazing! Perfect combination of sweet and tart with a fresh twist! item not reviewed by moderator and published
I made these for my Super Bowl party this past year and even the guys loved them! Thanks, Ellie! item not reviewed by moderator and published
This is so simple to make and tastes really good. I bought fresh mango and froze. item not reviewed by moderator and published
These are a cinch to make and really tasty. I am not a fan of margarita mixes or anything with that awful sweet and sour mix. I intended to use agave nectar in place of the sugar, but forgot to pick some up. Since I replace 1/2 the water with mango (or orange) juice, it really didn't need any extra sugar. I think it was definitely better with the added juice, as I've found frozen mangoes to sometimes be lacking in flavor. This is a great alternative to your typically frozen margarita since it won't get melty and watered down. Can't wait to whip this one out more throughout the summer. item not reviewed by moderator and published
This is now one of my top 10 drinks. It is super easy to make and it has just the right balance of everything. I love an original margarita and I visit Texas every year, so finding a good margarita recipe to make at home is not easy. They never seem to come out quite right. This recipe blew me away. I'm not a big drinker, so I was really pleased that it wasn't overly alcoholic, but I was still able to enjoy it without getting any nasty side effects. Ellie is superb as usual! item not reviewed by moderator and published
I'm not a huge fan of mangos so I thought while fresh Georgia peaches were in season I would use them instead. This recipe is a keeper. item not reviewed by moderator and published
I was looking forward to this margarita based on the other review. It lacked the bite I usually taste in a margarita. Needed salt? Needed more tequila? item not reviewed by moderator and published
I find most restaurant margaritas to be too sickly sweet. I love the fresh fruit coming through in this recipe with a nice balance of sweet and tart. item not reviewed by moderator and published
I have the hardest time making a decent margarita! I tried this recipe using frozen mango, & it was wonderful! The consistency was perfect & the taste was wonderful! item not reviewed by moderator and published
I made these for a party at a friend's house, and folks were lining up for second helpings. item not reviewed by moderator and published
If you had used the ice water as the recipe called for, it wouldn't have been too richly mango. item not reviewed by moderator and published
