I was looking forward to this margarita based on the other review. It lacked the bite I usually taste in a margarita. Needed salt? Needed more tequila?

I find most restaurant margaritas to be too sickly sweet. I love the fresh fruit coming through in this recipe with a nice balance of sweet and tart.

This makes a wonderful and easy margarita. The consistency is smooth. The mango makes the drink sweet and the lime juice makes it tart. I didn't have superfine sugar and used regular granulated sugar and it was perfectly fine. Leave it to Ellie to create a cocktail that has some nutritional merit.

I have the hardest time making a decent margarita! I tried this recipe using frozen mango, & it was wonderful! The consistency was perfect & the taste was wonderful!

I made these for a party at a friend's house, and folks were lining up for second helpings.
