These were great baked fries. I did substitute olive oil instead of canola oil, and i did not add the parsley, mainly because i did not have any.

I followed this recipe exactly and the fries were incredible! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. I had to keep my eye on them and flip them several times to keep each side cooking evenly. My husband and I ate them all, so addicting! Now I'm just trying to find more dinner meals to make WITH the fries :

i over cooked these, so next time i would lower the heat, or make the fries bigger. i bet they would have been delicious though!!!!

Great starter recipe! It was not too garlicky for me, in fact I added another clove. You do have to watch them in the oven-I had a couple that did burn but it was my fault-I just needed to check them more frequently and they would have been fine. The possibilites are endless with this recipe! I added a little cayenne pepper for some heat. EXCELLENT! The only bad reviews seem to be people who are not watching the fries close enough in the oven.

These fries were awesome, we are huge garlic fans so I added a little more garlic, served them with our favorite burgers, everyone loved them, loved them so much I had to make another batch. Thank you Ellie!!

these were great. The last guy to post obviously just cooked them wrong or has a bad oven.

The taste was good. At least the ones in the center. But I greased the pan and put the fries in the oven for the temperature specified. I was wondering if I should stir the fries so I opened the oven half way through and the end pieces were already burnt. Then I tried to stir them and they were all glued to the pan. I picked on the ones in the center and just threw the rest out. :( true story.

We had the fries tonight and they were very yummy! Not too garlicy (which I was worried about. They went very well with my ribs recipe and I felt a little better eating them with my healthy "fries".
They were very easy and quick to make.

Thanks Ellie! You have been an inspiration! I made these fries today and
they turned out great. I did turn the potatoes to brown the other side.
The garlic is a nice touch to the flavor of the dish.
I also made your tomato, cucumber, red pepper relish. We did enjoy also!
