my family just loves this dish....however, i used other recipe reviewers suggestions and changed it up a tad. instead of bulgar, i use brown rice. i use italian seasoned ground turkey for a lighter taste and mix some feta and garlic into the stuffing mixture for extra taste. italian seasoned stewed tomatoes are a great addition as well.

It was really easy to make, but took me about 2 hours including baking time to make the whole thing. I recommend it, it was very healthy and tasty. My sister is a vegetarian, so she tried the stuffing will out meat, and she raves the recipe is still good!

Well, I tried to make this even healthier by using all white meat turkey breast and it was pretty good. I used a heavy amount of Greek seasoning knowing how bland turkey is and a little olive oil as well to moisten it up. I used parmesan on one of them and thought it was better than the feta (and I love feta. I'll be making this again, but tweaking the ingredients some more to find that perfect balance. Also, I was skeptical of the bulgur, have never used it before...didn't really taste it.

I thought these were great, as did my family. My boyfriend normally can't stand stuffed peppers and loved these. The best part was, I felt full after one and it was a lot of food! Definitely give these a try.

This was tasty for a healthy recipe! Could have been more flavorful but would have become more fatty in doing so. We did not buy the leanest hamburger so we did precook it some before putting it in the peppers so that we were able to drain some of the grease out. Also we used quinoa instead of bulghur and added some garlic. I can't wait to try the recipe with ground turkey.

I wasn't crazy about the bulghur in this recipe. I posted my version of Greek peppers at ellebeaugrease blogspot com. Each pepper worked out to be about 200 calories and so filling.

I loved this! I did add some more spice and did add a bit of feta into the mixture. . . I hate stuffed green peppers so this was healthy and tasted amazing!

A good recipe. However, I had a lot of the mixture left over.

First of all, I don't know how big of peppers used in the recipe but I used 4 and had a lot of meat mixture leftover! Ended up making a mini meatloaf with it. Anyway, I really liked this recipe. I added garlic, 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, 1/4 tsp of nutmeg and feta in the mixutre. With the addition of spices it really "turned up the volume" haha. I liked the stewed tomatoes as a topping, it adds a sweetness. This is a healthy, and delicious version of stuffed-peppers and I will definitly make again.
