I love these pancakes! I always make a big batch and freeze them between parchement paper. The strawberry sauce is great but not needed. I never have buttermilk so I just mix skim milk and lemon juice and let the acid curdle it a few minutes. I make them for my dad. He is finicky about "health food stuff" and he even liked them!

there were lumps in the batter which she said there would be, but when I cooked the pancakes the lumps of flour were still there...blah. next time I'm making these without the lumps.

These are by far the best pancakes I've ever had! Definitely better than any restaurant pancakes, and they're healthier too! Recipe was easy to make, nothing confusing or complicated. Most of the ingredients I had around the house (except for the buttermilk. Great texture, fluffy, light, great flavor. Oh, but make sure you butter the pan first...I didn't and they stuck the first round. Definitely will make many more.

These pancakes were hearty, healthy and very delicious! Why go back to box mix when these were so easy and simple to make!

The strawberry puree was also a hit and the perfect complement to the wheat pancakes! I'm going to make the pancakes with a blueberry puree next time.

These pancakes are so yummy with whole wealth texture, flavor of buttermilk & vanilla, and strawberry sauce...definitely a keeper. I also tried them with honey and they were extra healthy. Ellie, thank you for the great recipe!

The boyfriend and I are not huge pancake fans (we're on waffle's team but these are the best we've ever had. They're quick, effortless and taste how I've always wished pancakes could taste! We added cinnamon, and we highly recommend it! Didn't have strawberries on hand this time, but I plan to make the sauce in the near future since other reviews say it's awesome.

Ok... So I tried the peach french toast the day before this so I was kinda worried this would turn out like that... Not saying it was bad just not great... Anyways... I made these on a sunday morning for me and my hubby and they were killer... We even saved the leftover batter and made some this morning and the strawberries and maple syrup SO GOOD... Of course I added a pinch of cinnamon and a lil nutmeg (Just how I like my pancakes... Strawberry Puree and waffles is what I'll make next time
