I have some red lentils onhand and would like to use them up, and I was wandering if this recipe could be done with the red lentils instead?
    Thanks anyone for your help.

I tried this recipe in March and it was great! The only thing I omitted was fresh basil. The lemon was the must have for this dish.

I have made this several times and it is wonderful! I take it to work to share with my friends that are trying to eat healthier and it is a hit with them! They keep asking for more! Thanks for all of your great suggestions in your books! I am learning a lot from them and from your show! Due to health considerations because of poor food choices when I was younger, I am now having to think about different ways of eating. You have made this food adventure more fun and delicious! Thanks!

We enjoyed this but think it would improve from some heartier spices like cumin. I think it would be terrific blended with a little nonfat yogurt. Fun flavors.

I am always so pleased with her recipes. I knew that it was going to be great. I did add some more basil after a tasting as well as a little more lemon juice. I loved the freshness of it and it felt so good eating it because I know it's good for me. I would have to wonder what a little garlic would do to the dish.

I couldn't wait to make this. Had a little trouble finding the bulgur, but was persistant, and it was well worth the effort! Took it to work and everyone who was brave enough to try it loved it and asked for the recipe. Very Healthy! Thanks!

We tried this recipe out and absolutely loved it. We did substitute brown rice for bulgur and highly recommend it. Don't overcook the peppers and onions and the herbs and lemon bring this one over the top!

This was a healthy, delicious side dish. My husband is not always crazy about whole grains but loved this dish and asked that it be repeated.

I wasn't expecting a whole lot out of this but the flavor turned out to be very very good. Definitely a keeper

    What a wonderful recipe!
I had bought bulgur and it was just sitting in the cupboard, waiting for the right recipe to come along.
The taste combo of the bulgur and lentils worked well and adding the yellow pepper and red onion gave it color and amped up the flavor, along with the herbs and dressing.
My family raved and that's the best part....knowing I made them something healthy and delicious.
    Thanks, Ellie.
Your recipes always get amazing comments. I love the oohs and aah over dinner.
