Amazingly rich and sweet. I also used dark chocolate cocoa and a sprinkle of cayane pepper for heat, so delicious and guilt free.

Just made this last night for my sister because I was demonstrating to her that homemade is always better than store bought. I thought the taste was ok, but the texture was off putting and very grainy. Next time instead of cocoa powder, I'll use real bakers's chocolate.

YUMMY.... I love hot chocolate and i am so glad that will Ellie i can eat and drink anything i love without the guilt... I make all her recipes in my weekly plans... For this i added a little more sugar because I have extreme sweet buds... I added 2 little pieces of ginger as she did in the show and the Cinnamon as it says in here... It was delicious

WEAK! I thought the hot chocolate tasted like watered down chocolate milk. It really did't have much flavor.

Awesome! I didn't have a cinnamon stick on hand so I just sprinkled a little cinnamon powder into the milk. Other than that, I did everything the way the recipe was printed.

I used skim milk and 2 splenda packets instead of 2 tsp of sugar. Turned out yummy, even being lo-cal!

very simple and you can add flavoring to it as well to give it a kick like coffee creamer or rum, but by its self it is very simple and a wonderful comforting drink.

I took this recipe and doubled it adding Nutmeg and leaving it heating to just before boil. I used a little more than double the sugar and boy yumm it was. Slightly sweet and a little strong. A complex creation. Dabble on your own. Give it a try.
