I actually made this using left over thanks giving turkey and chicken sausage. It came out delicious! I dont remember if I also added shrimp. The flavor profile in this is amazing. Does anyone think this can be put in a slow cooker?

This recipe was easy to make and absolutely delicious! I used mild Italian sausage instead of ham and added a bit more cayenne.

I've never really cared for Jambalaya. My husband is from New Orleans so I thought I'd give this recipe a try for him. I ended up liking this so much that I put leftovers in the freezer. I served them to guests later in the week, and they raved about it. Next time I'll leave out the ham, because I don't really think it made that much difference in the flavor. I used Eckridge beef sausage, and giant Shrimp (de-tailed!. Delicious!

Made this with turkey smoked sausage instead of ham and I thought the flavor was great. Previously only made jambayla with the Zatarain's mix and it always sat with me. This was good flavor and you can kick up the heat to your liking. Great 1 pot dish for a pretty quick dinner. Will make again.

I make this dish all the time. Sometime I replace the ham with chicken breast - rub with olive oil, salt and pepper then roast in oven, and cut into bite size. I also add smoked turkey sauage fried and cut into bite size.

This recipe was very easy and very tasty. It had less sodium and fat than other jambalaya recipes. It tasted just as good and was much healthier for you.. Thank you Ellie.
