Granted you can gather all the ingredients ... it was a really yummy and tasty recipe! I made it for my bf and he LOVED it!!! Well, we don't like it spicy so there was no hot sauce. But there was just enough cayenne pepper gave it just enough kick!!! Thumbs up!!!!!

This Recipe was absolutely delicious my husband and I are both from New Orleans and love Jambalaya this recipe takes the traditional recipe ridden with Butter, Bacon and every thing else unhealthy and turns it in to a HEALTHY TASTY dish. We will make it over and over again it was a family favorite! Way to go Ellie!

This is easy to make and very tasty. If you like things very spicy (as I do then use a can of Ro-Tel instead of the regular diced tomatoes. Also, due to a mishap, I made my batch without the tomato paste and it was just fine.

I love jambalaya, but find it to be a bit heavy in restaurants. This recipe only uses ONE tablespoon of oil and is incredibly flavorful. She has really found a way to utilize spices in order to cut back on the need for oil. Plus, I made it without the ham and substituted brown rice (had to cook it a bit longer than the recipe stated, and it was still amazing. Would definitely make this again.

I have cooked many variations of jambalaya over the years and I would have to say this one was probably my kids favorite one yet. Not too hot and they love shrimp and ham. I might add some parsley to it next time for more color and flavor but overall a solid and easy recipe. If you like it hotter, a splash of Tabasco on top does wonders.

Very easy for this cooking Dad, and the kids loved it. The hot pepper sauce @ the end made it over the top for me. My daugter put cheese on her's and said she loved it. Its a must!
