Maybe I needed to watch the show to understand the recipe, but it is illogical. Does someone review and edit the recipes before they are posted online? The recipe does not logically handle cooking the asparagas. What pan should I saute them in? The same one I'm making the sauce in or a new one? How can I saute whole asaragas? Shouldn't I cut them into pieces first? When are they removed from the pan? Why does the recipe say to put the asparagas in the pan at the end if it never says to remove it from a pan?

I consider myself a decent home cook but this recipe was very difficult to follow and took MUCH longer than 15 minutes.

This recipe was awesome! I used fresh Lemon Pepper Linguine from Eden Gourmet (which is a specialty store, instead of regular linguine. For those who didnt care for the recipe..give it another chance with a different kind of pasta.

This is pretty simple to make as are all of Ellie's recipes. My wife liked the lemon/wine sauce a lot. I bet this would be good with scallops as well thought the technique would be a bit different.

Next time I will reduce the amount of pasta water. It watered things down for my tastes but the starch helps the sauce cling to the pasta so some is necessary. I also reduced the amount of parsley as my wife is not a parsley fan, added an anchovy, some red pepper flakes and finished with some high quality EVOO.

otherwise a good recipe to make pasta a little more healthy. used broccoli inst of asparagus and it was great. spend the money and buy prepared raw shrimp. makes this a quick and easy meal.

I'll use this recipe again and again. The sauce was just right. If only I could find whole wheat linguini, it would be perfect.

The prep time and cook time are not accurate. It takes time to peel and devein shrimp, etc. Otherwise good meal.
