How much pasta do you use? That part of the recipe seems cut off. Thanks!

I also had a 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes and found it was not a problem. Yummy soup that is hearty and healthy. With a baguette, it's a meal that even the kids liked!

This was a fabulous snowy day lunch!! I added some fresh chopped up spinach because I had some to use up. This is one for the recipe box for sure!!

Fantastic! I split the recipe in half and still ended up with about 4 servings. This is a wonderfully thick, hearty soup that sticks to your ribs. I simmered the soup longer than the recipe calls for before adding the beans and pasta. It made the veggies much more tender, otherwise they would've been crunchy. I will definitely be making this soup often!

AMAZING. I followed the recipe fairly closely except that I used a 28 oz. can of crushed tomatoes rather than a 14 oz. one, simply because that was what I had and I didn't feel like splitting it in half. My soup looks much darker, thicker, and generally more tomato-ey than the soup in the picture, but I love anything with tomatoes, so I don't mind. The flavor of this soup is amazing, the amount of pasta and beans is perfect, and although it took me longer to cook than expected, it was very worth it! Will make again!

Wonderful!! My family used bowtie pasta instead of elbow which transformed it to more of a pasta than a soup. Still amazing!!

This is delicious!!! I too kept the noodles seperate. I tried the basil one time but found it to have a taste I didn't enjoy (which is odd b/c I make my own pesto and pasta sauce and LOVE basil's taste so didn't use the basil. My husband enjoyed it so much we are making it again today!!
