Super good and easy recipe. I did make a few changes though. Since it is just me and my boyfriend that live together we do half of all the ingredients except the ketchup, we keep that the same for the moistness. It may seem too wet, but trust me. It is not! We then cook it for an hour at the temp in the recipe/
We also use a packet of meatloaf seasoning such as McCormick instead of doing the salt and pepper. I don't do the peppers and stuff either. So it is even more simple for me. But I think it is super good with the tips above. It turns out moist and so yummy. And not bad for you at all!

I enjoyed smelling the aroma of the onions on top while the turkey loaf baked. Both my husband and son cleaned their plates and since they normally would prefer "meatloaf" I'm happy to serve them a healthier choice that we all enjoyed. I had the side dish Smashed Potatoes with Sour Cream and Chives that was also delicious.

The oat and milk mixture made the meatloaf very moist.

We loved this recipe! I didn't have green pepper on hand so I substituted chunky salsa for the ketchup and green bell pepper and it came out great even with the substitution. I found my husband after dinner hunched over the pan, picking off and eating the bits that were left behind on the pan! I also used a in-oven style digital thermometer and pulled the meatloaf out at 157 and while it rested it reached 160 to prevent it from being too dry.I think this would work great as a healthier meatball recipe!

Va-va voom! Super duper easy and tasty. Great leftovers. I made a half recipe and used only 1/4 cup oats, discarded the milk that did not soak in and regular ground turkey because that is what I had. Threw in a little dried thyme leaves and drizzled ketchup not tomato sauce over the top. So good. Just gave the recipe to my daughter so again it is Mom's turkey meatloaf.

This recipe is a family staple in my house. Moist, flavorful, and healthy all in one. Kids and adults love this meal and it serves an army. No need to substitute any other ground meats. Love this recipe....NO substitutions!

Past experience has taught me that this meatloaf made with all ground turkey would be dry as the Sahara Desert, so I substituted half the ground turkey with a 50/50 mixture of ground turkey and pork. Normally I use ground sirloin and ground pork anyway. Also added 3 cloves of minced garlic, the leaves off a sprig of fresh thyme, red wine instead of non-fat milk and like always substituted steak sauce for Worcestershire sauce since I don't think they make a Worcestershire sauce without anchovies For the topping I used a cup of ketchup, 1 Tb of packed brown sugar and a tsp of prepared mustard. After the re-make version I gave it 5 stars, so did my partner and our dinner guest.
