It's a good base recipe for Turkey Meatloaf. The texture is good and its moist. I thinks she uses tomato sauce as the topping to reduce the sugar that using Ketchup adds. Next time I'll add herbs and a pinch more salt. I'll also replace the tomato sauce topping with something that has a little more zing. All in all it's a pretty good recipe and as you can tell from the reviews there are many ways of personalizing.

After I "fixed" this recipe to my families taste it was great. I added 1- 2 tablespoons minced garlic; got rid of the bell pepper and instead substituted 2 - 3 carrots that had been finely chopped in the food processor. I also chopped the onion the same way - all of it. I used homemade bread crumbs instead of the oats; and then on the top of the meatloaf, I used 1 1/2 cups of Prego Spaghetti sauce. Baked it for the recommended time. It was great. The leftovers for sandwiches were even better.

I thought this was gross. Maybe because I cooked it in a meatloaf pan which made it too thick? Yuck.

Add a 1/2 pound of spicy italian sausage and it won;t be bland.

I have made this recipe for years! I even renamed it "I Can't Believe It's Turkey Meatloaf"! Doesn't taste healthy, but it is. :

This was quick and easy to make! I used spicy spaghetti sauce in place of the regular tomato sauce and added some Mrs. Dash seasoning (since previous reviews commented on the recipe being bland. Finally, I sprinkled some parm on top and served with a side of spaghetti and a salad. My meat-and-potatoes-loving boyfriend and I both loved it!

Very moist, yet quite bland. Needed some cumin.

This a very easy but tasty receipt.
It works very well also with 1/2 pork and 1/2 turkey.
It goes OK also with beef but it's not so tasty.
It's perfect for a big dinner with guests.
