I halved the recipe because it was just my husband and i. It worked out well. I did have to cook it a little bit longer than an hour an then I put it under the broiler to caramelize and brown up the tomato sauce. I added a bit of chili powered to the meatloaf for some heat- and it was great!

This meatloaf was awesome. I minced the red pepper so fine so my kids could not detect it. We ate 1/2 and I put the other 1/2 in the freezer. Can't wait to take it out!

I might add some flavor to the sauce to give it more kick. It was easy and my husband liked it.

This turkey meatloaf is rather bland and I probably wouldn't make it again. It was quite runny, which made it difficult to form it into a loaf. It did firm up with baking, but it needed more spice.

This recipe is easy to make. I had never used turkey, so I was unsure how it would test, particularly since using oatmeal was a first, too. When it came out of the oven, I had to adjust to the light color, which I did not find particularly appetizing, but perhaps that is just a visual adjustment that can be made over time. The taste was pretty good. I used McCann's quick oats as opposed to Quaker because as a general rule, we prefer that brand's flavor and consistency. Shelf life in regard to leftovers was not so good. Since it is just my husband and I, should I make it again, I would cut the recipe in half.

I followed the recipe exactly, except I added BBQ sauce instead of ketchup, and black olives instead of red peppers. It was hearty and had great flavor.

Cheaper, healthier and moister than the traditional beef, pork and veal.I added a glaze of 1c ketchup
    1/4c apple cider vinegar
    2/3 tbs brown sugar
