I made it exactly as listed, except I didn't include the peppers and added a bit more oats. The meatloaf was moist, but a little bland. I'm sure the peppers would have helped, but my family doesn't like them. I added a little ketchup on top before I served it to the kids and that helped. Still, not bad for a low-fat meatloaf.

I am doing the Weight Watchers diet, and knew this recipe would be "point friendly" but was unsure about the taste. I made this recipe with the follwing changes:
    20 oz. ground turkey breast
    2 egg whites
    2 cloves garlic minced
    1 small onion chopped
    1/8 cup celery chopped
1/8 cup green bell pepper chopped
1/8 cup red bell pepper chopped
1/2 cup oats in 1/4 cup low fat milk
    1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbs fresh italian parsley chopped
    1/2 tsp salt
    6 grinds black pepper
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    onion slices to top
dried oregano to top off tomato sauce

I cooked at 375 for one hour and placed under broiler for an additional 5 minutes to brown the onion slices.

It was VERY GOOD! My husband loved it also. We both really grew up loving beef meatloaf and we were pleasantly surprised at how good this was. He couldn't detect the oats in the recipe, and neither could I. For all those following WW, the points are 4 per serving, with this loaf yielding 5 servings. I will definitely make this again! Thanks Ellie!

I put low carb ketchup on top instead of tomato sauce. Best turkey meatloaf recipe I've ever tried.

I love turkey meatloaf and this healthy moist version is delightful. I prefer to use crushed roasted garlic Triscuits rather than oats for a deeper flavor. I also add a packet of Lipton onion soup mix for richer onion flavor. Finally, I use fresh salsa rather than ketchup and diced peppers. Try my version!

This is my 1st time having meatloaf as I grew up in an Asian family and this recipe is wonderful. I did add BBQ sauce instead of ketchup and garlic salt. I had sauteed brocolli on the side for more veggies. Next time, I will use real garlic and grated carrots for added flavor and vegetables.

I really liked this meatloaf. I use ground turkey instead of ground beef a lot and this will certainly become a regular.

I'm glad I read the reviews - I added more flavor by cranking up some of the spice. But I loved how light this turned out compared to a beef meatloaf. My husband didn't know it was turkey till I told him.

Freezes beatifully - I wrapped the leftover block in two layers of foil and then defrosted partially in the microwave, finishing it off in the oven. Good since it is just the two of us.
