Oh my!! This was very good. Full of flavor, moist, filling, and my husband loved it!! I added sage, thyme, and garlic power. I served it with mashed potatoes. I totally forgot about veggies but I think fresh steamed green beans would also be a nice pair. This was my first meatloaf and it was a success! I love that its healthy and but at the same time a classic comfort food :

Delicious! Never thought I'd use that word to describe meatloaf but this was really yummy. I sauteed the chopped onion/pepper in some olive oil, worcestershire, ketchup and garlic powder and then let it cool in the fridge while I prepped everything else. Gave flavor to the veggies and helped disguise them more for my fiance who doesn't like them. Used 1.31lb of lean ground turkey and 2 links of hot italian sausage (about .4lb since that was what I had on hand. Used just enough milk to moisten the oats, much less than half a cup. Added garlic powder to the whole thing as well as extra (dry...no milk oatmeal and italian breadcrumbs because the end result was too wet to mold. Baked at 375 for almost 80 minutes. Moist, flavorful...my fiance said this was the best meatloaf he's ever had, I agree with him. Did not add salt and did not need it. I would've liked it to be a bit more firm but my fiance loved the texture.

I thought this was great and easy. I added chopped cooked drained spinach and seasoned with a little fresh nutmeg. I also added carrot chopped fine.

Meatloaf was good! Did not miss the beef, the turkey flavor was great. I also really liked the addition of red peppers. Only negative thing I have to say was that it was a little dense, might add some soggy white bread it it next time in addition to the oats.

Great place to start; of course, you should season to taste. I always add several cloves of minced garlic (I typically up the garlic even if a recipe already calls for it and herbs; rosemary, thyme and sage are a fave. Tonight I added some leftover steamed carrots that I finely chopped; other times I have added sauteed mushrooms.
A nice, high protein, low fat meatloaf. Thanks, Ellie!

I have made this recipe several times now and I LUV it! I feel like I am eating healthy without loosing the taste factor of a meatloaf. Still very meaty but not heavy on your stomach! This is one of my fave for sure! :

I personally do not eat red meat and have been dying for a yummy turkey meatloaf and this hit the SPOT!! Outstanding recipe, I was even able to get three picky eaters to chow down on this recipe. Will definitely be making this again.. soon! One thing I did was substitute the tomato sauce on top for traditional Prego ( I already had some left over from Ellie's Chicken Parm recipe that we have also had recently, also to-die-for. The traditional Prego gave this dish a yummy Italian kick!

This was pretty good, though, like other reviewers, I found that it took longer than an hour in the oven. I do think that it needed more flavor. Maybe some herbs, like sage or thyme?

This was sooo good, didn't think it would be so moist. I had enough for sunday dinner, lunch and dinner the next day! Steamed broccoli and carrots to go along with the "healthy" thing, however would of preferred some mashed potatoes! Tasty for any foodie, thanks Ellie.
