Definitely one of the best meatloaf recipes we've come across and love the healthy spin on it.

it smelled a little bland before i ever put it in the oven so i added a splash more W-shire sauce and added maybe 1/2 tsp of fresh ground lemon pepper and a dash of garlic powder. zigzagged ketchup on the top and ground a little more lemon pepper on top. served with homemade mashed potatoes and string bean casserole. everyone loved it :

This was a delicious meatloaf. I made this last night and it was fabulous; this was my first time eating ground turkey....even my one-year-old daughter loved it!!! You wouldnt know it was turkey..it smelled, tasted and even looked like the traditional beef meatloaf! The only problem was mine came out a little dry after having to defrost the turkey in the microwave, which resulted in tough spots.

Made it yesterday, halved the recipe and seasonings accordingly since I live alone, and added some garlic powder and a good pinch of Italian seasoning to it. I also put some Newman's Own Sockarooni sauce on top instead of the plain old tomato sauce, and baked it in a loaf pan. Fan-tas-tic! I could have eaten the entire thing...

I know how to make a basic meatloaf, but I don't mind finding a healthier recipe. I never used oats before. I didn't measure as I only had a pound of turkey, so it was a bit wet until I added panko crumbs. I also added a little dijon mustard. I zig-zagged ketchup over the top too. We really enjoyed it and it will be nice as a sandwich filling when cold. It was nice and firm too.

My family didn't care for this dish. It's the first time I had to through meatloaf leftovers away. I think it's a healthy meatloaf.

I agree with the one reviewer's partner--it tastes "healthy." Granted, I didn't add onion (my fiance hates onions, but otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. Next time I'll add garlic and maybe some Tabasco...any other suggestions to boost the flavor? All that said, this is an AWESOME LOW-CALORIE, filling and nutritious meal--great if you're like me and always hungry! : One slice of this, with some roasted potatoes and broccoli, and you won't even think about dessert!

For a healthy meatloaf this is great. I liked that I can use whole grain oats and sneak in lots of vegetables. This is a great way to stretch your dollars, meat is expensive and it's not healthy to eat too much. Until I can find a better recipe that is also healthy, this is my only meatloaf recipe on file.
