These mashed potatoes were delicious. I have always added buttermilk to my potatoes to save calories but the parm. was a wonderful addition. I think these are wonderful potatoes. My family did not have a clue that the butter and whole milk was missing they just ate and enjoyed. Thank you so much Ellie, I have been searching for ways to feed my family better and you are just what we needed.

My husband loves potatoes and now I have a recipe that we can both enjoy. Wow, this was easy AND healthy. I added a little minched garlic the 2nd time and that was good too. Plus he pat of butter on top worked like a charm. He had no idea!

Loved these, they were creamy and full of flavor, I added slightly more fresh parmesan than called for. These are now a fav!!! Please give her a daily show.

I love mashed potatoes, and was not impressed with the recipe as is. I improvised and added more parmesan, and it definitely tasted better. But, this recipe wasn't nearly as tasty as I had hoped.

I love mashed potatoes, and was skeptical about this recipe. But, with the buttermilk and the parmesan cheese, I didn't miss the lack of high-fat ingredients. They're wonderful. I've tried them with both red bliss and yukon gold potatoes. It's okay with the red bliss, but the yukon gold potatoes really make the dish.

All of my husband's family loved the parmesan mashed potatoes. I found them very tasty and also very flexible since I made the potatoes then put them in a casserole dish and kept them warm till time to eat.

These potatoes were so tasty and rich we never even missed the butter. I used blue potatoes which turned a fun lavender color when finished. The color made a great presentation. They were a hit with my boyfriend who LOVES mashed potatoes

This one was great...my guests especially loved the cheese. We didn't even need to top off with butter!

Great recipe! I made this for Sunday dinner with the relatives and everyone, including the kids, could not stop talking about how good the mashed potatoes were! Thanks, Contessa!
