These were great for the husband and kids! They were satisfying and the dipping sauce was perfect.

I made this dish using larger shrimp and panko as suggested in some other reviews. My husband and I really liked it and will make it again. I actually thought the prep was easy but next time I will make sure I am done breading before heating the cookie sheet up. We liked the sauce too but maybe a little less lime next time.

i love ellie, but this is the 2nd recipe that has fallen flat. it was very labor intensive without much of a pay-off. flavors are super bland. breading is very flavorless although crunchy. dipping sauce is also lacking seasoning. we ate it, but not happily.

This recipe was super easy! I looked at other reviews and decided to use the Panko bread crumbs instead of the cornmeal. I also used Old Bay seasoning because i didn't have the chili powder. The shrimp turned out crispy and tasty. I did not use the sauce because I did not have all of the ingredients, but I will the next time! Give this one a try! It's certainly healthier than fried shrimp, and just as tasty!

I really did not like this recipe. The shrimp came out extremely dry.
    The dipping sauce was great,
Next time I will try using panko instead of corn meal.

They were ok, but really not very good. They tasted too muich like health food-too dry and crunchy. They were a lot of work and not worth all of the effort.

and found it delicious! I used the cornmeal and had no problems. The shrimp came out fluffly and crispy.

I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but my husband and I were looking for a Super Bowl appetizer that wouldn't leave us feeling guilty. I used 31-40 count shrimp and left them whole, hoping they would not turn out over-battered. The result was delicious. I would definitely make them again. Thanks, Ellie!
