As a family, we loved this recipe. The rotisserie chicken makes it easy, and soooo good! It was simple to prepare, and everyone at the table loved it. Make sure you have a nice hearty roll with it.

I love this sauce! I've been looking for a great tasting BBQ sauce that does not have bottled sauce as one of the ingredients. This is so good and versitile. You can spice it up with some pepper flakes or sweeten it to taste with a little more molases. Yummy! I toasted my whole wheat buns under the broiler with a little garlic butter and a slice of provalone. I'm sure this made it less healthy but it was delish.

I'm from the south so we normally have pulled pork. I gave this recipe a try because like most people this time of year, we are trying to eat better this year. My family and I were all very pleased with this recipe(even my husband who is a good ole boy. The sauce came together very quickly and tasted really good; it wasn't too sweet or too spicy. I used garlic powder and onion powder because I didn't want to bite into pieces of onions or garlic. I also used hickory liquid smoke which was great. This is a wonderful low fat, weeknight dinner.

We made these for playoff game today as we wanted a healthier option for football fare. We were hesitant at first after reading some of the reviews, but we made just as the recipe called for and it was quite good! Thanks Ellie!

You must use the liquid smoke. Makes a HUGE difference.

My heading is the responses I got from my family as it's simmering on our cook top. After reading the rude and kind reviews I decided to first make it as written, while simmering I had added some brown sugar as suggested, another TBS. of molasses, Chipotle Tabasco sauce and a tad more garlic and pepper. Looking forward to a delicious dinner!! Thanks Ellie

This recipe was easy, but bland. To me, the rotisserie chicken was better before the sauce was added. If you are looking for something innocuous to accompany some great sides, this is it - otherwise, move on to something else.

I was very excited to try this recipe but it turned out to have no flavor. I'm now trying to figure out what to add to it so the rest of the ingredients I bought arent' wasted... Very disappointed...
