I thought the flavors were excellent. I do not use low-sodium tomato sauce, so that may be why I enjoyed it more than some of the others.
My kids loved it too. I had the equivalent amount of chicken in breasts, so I just used that. I loved the depth that the molasses gave. Ellie, you did it again!

This was good and a great change of pace from our usual repetoire, but something is missing flavor-wise and I can't put my finger on it. Will definitely make again, only with some adjustments.

Made this recipe tonight as well as the cole slaw companion. Although it was better when the cole slaw was placed directly on top of the barbecue, it lacked something in the sauce. It was easy but the sauce was a bit bitter and the cole slaw tasted too much of the vinegar. I was looking for an old-fashioned chicken barbecue like the fire companies made years ago but was disappointed.

My family and I really liked this recipe. It was fast and easy to make. Didn't have the liquid smoke, so we added smoked paprika instead, and a couple of drops of worcestershire sauce. Anyone can be creative and add flavors they like.

I liked that this recipe was not sweet. We are trying to cut back on sugar and sodium and this was a nice alternative to standard brown sugar sauces. It was great for our leftover rotisserie chicken. Also, I made her coleslaw recipe with it and served it on top of the sandwich instead of on the side and it was delicious.

I made this recipe exactly as is but added about a teaspoon of celery seed. It was missing something upon first taste for me. The seed did the trick.

I thought this recipe was very easy to make and tasted very good. I did add a couple of things to the BBQ sauce b/c my husband and I thought it was a little too tomato-y. I added worsestershire & some hot sauce which we felt rounded the sauce out well. I will definitely make this again and again!

I really loved this recipe!! It was a breeze to make, and fairly inexpensive. I added a little red pepper flakes and hot sauce for pep, but otherwise it was terrific.

Tried this recipe tonight and it was delicious! I used shredded lettuce on the bottom of the bun and it got soggy on me. Should have used a full leaf as the recipe called for or toasted the bottom of the bun. Excellent flavor!

and have made it several times. Quick, easy, delicious. We add more cayenne pepper for extra kick. Leftovers are even better!
