These muffins were quick and easy to make and best of all they are healthier than my old pumpkin muffin recipe. They are moist and full of flavor. I would say they are less sweet than most pumpkin muffins. A perfect accompaniment to a soup and salad meal! I did not use the pumpkin seeds.

These muffins are quickly becoming part of my breakfast menu for the fall. I didn't see Ellie Krieger make them on TV, but was just searching for a pumpkin muffin recipe that would be similar to the ones I used to get at Panera Bread in So. Cal (I can't get them in the city where I live now. These aren't exactly like them, but so much more healthy, I'm sure, and really fun to make.

I made this recipe with high hopes, given the rating; but I must agree with the person who gave it two stars. It is a big disappointment. It's not that the muffins have no taste. It's that they have that unpleasantly aggressive taste of whole grain flour. So, unless you are a fan of "health food" baking, I suggest you try baking a traditional pumpkin bread in muffin tins.

I just made these, and they were outstanding. I went light on the molasses and left out the pumpkin seeds. You can definitely still taste the pumpkin. Tasted just like pumpkin pie to me! I would highly reccomend these.

These muffins are terrific and easy to make. My husband and son are tough critics and they loved them. They are very flavorful. I don't know what some of the other reviewers are talking about when they say they are bland. I made the recipe exactly as dictated and it worked perfectly. I got 18 muffins out of my batch. I used a standard sized muffin pan. Didn't catch the episode. Maybe she uses a larger sized muffin pan. I love the fact that these are easy, inexpensive and healthy!

These pumpkin muffins taste like pumpkin pie and even better than that. I don't care for pumpkin pie, but I love these muffins. Great recipe Ellie, Dolores

I am honestly thrilled with these muffins. I love baking muffins, and of all the ones I've made, these were the prettiest - they crowned beautifully. They are also moist, flavorful, and healthy - how could it get any better?
