I love this low-cal Ranch dressing! It's so delicious that I will never buy bottled dressing again! And it is easy to make too. I've learned to triple the receipe so I have plenty on hand.

I made this dressing and will def do so again. I added quite a bit of pepper and some crumbled feta. Yum. This is MUCH BETTER than Rachael Ray's low fat ranch.

I just wanted to throw it out there that if you are going to put some bluecheese in this, to make a typical bluecheese dressing, be sure to get the bluecheese that is soft. From personal experience I went with the cheaper bluecheese and it is really hard to break up and incoporate into the dressing. A little more expensive crumbled bluecheese is going to make be much more effective.

We use a splash of either whitewine vinegar or champagne vinegar in this dressing as well.

Great to have the ability to make these dressings and get away from the preservative laden ones, as well as keeping down the fat and calories.

Tasted sour from the Dijon. I liked the buttermilk and yogurt flavoring though.

I LOVE this recipe. I should have made a double batch. I really think the Greek style yogurt makes a difference - just gives it a better mouth feel. I used dried chives like some other reviewers, and also added some dried parsley. Definitely never buying bottled dressing ever again! And I am totally making Elli's green goddess dressing tomorrow. Can't wait!

Made a double batch for dinner. Came out fantastic. It really does taste as good (but a far less processed flavor as anything out of a bottle. Have memorized the recipe already it's so darn good. Try it if you like ranch at all. Like Michelle from Long Beach said... you can add a bit of blue cheese (or feta and make a great side to hot wings.

I was amazed at how good this quick and simple dressing is. Way better and much cheaper than store bought ranch filled with chemicals. Definitely remember to season with salt and I did add a smidge more garlic and onion power. The Cuisipro Donvier Yogurt Cheese Maker is an excellent and cheap yogurt strainer for recipes requiring thick yogurt--very easy and not messy like other home methods.

We have so missed Ranch dressing. My husband is allergic to MSG which most creamy dressings have and the "natural" dressings are so full or high fat products or they don't taste good. This is a low fat and great tasting receipe that is easy to make. I love the yogurt substitute and I've started doing that in everything loaded with Mayo (ie tuna fish and chicken salads. You can amp up the spices, mustard, and/or lemon juice if you like yours a little more spicy. I also used Helman's (sp? Lite Mayo instead of regular mayo. Loving it!

I don't know what reviewer Dawn was possibly thinking, but this (and the entire menu including chicken and sweet potatoes was so good, I also threw out my bottled dressing and will only use this recipe for ranch forever. Yes, it is that good.
