This recipe has made me an Ellie fan. The flavors were complex and deep. Could not have been better. I will make this again and again!

given all the positive reviews. I usually like any type of salmon, unfortunately I thought this tasted rather strange. The grapefruit was a little too overpowering and I thought the dish was too sweet overall. It is probably just not my taste... I really enjoy watching the show though!

I am happy to see that this recipe got such good reviews. After making it, I would not expect it to be as well received. I love salmon and I am very open to any ingredient so when I found this unusual combination I had to try it. Don't get me wrong, it was very good! The sauce wasn't getting me excited until I added the lemon juice and fresh basil. That really brightened it up and toned the grapefruit juice down just enough. I don't think dried basil would have complimented nearly as well. Overall, nice alternative preparation for salmon. Healthy and bright for spring..

I don't like fish, and this recipe sounded a little strange, but I decided to try it anyway. My husband and I gobbled it down. It was delicious, and it smelled heavenly! That's right, a fish dish that smells delicious. I will definitely make this again. Beautiful presentation so great for entertaining as well.

This is easy and absolutely delicious. I used the jar grapefruit purchased in the produce section of my grocery store. It came out fantastic. I served it over steamed spinach sprinkled w/ freshly grated nutmeg. I would definitely serve this at a dinner party-it's that elegant!
