This was delicious. It will become a staple in our house. My husband and I both enjoyed it. I took it the leftovers to work and my co-workers enjoyed it too! I made a couple of modifications because I didn't have enough tomato sauce, so I supplemented with 1/2 cup of ketchup; also we used maple syrup instead of molasses. I'm usually a big fan of beans, but I found them to be strange in this recipe so next time I will leave them out.

I grew up eating sloppy joes with the canned sauce. This is so much yummier and better for you! Really easy to make.

I rarely make a recipe "as is" an don't alter it at least a bit, but this is one that is perfect as it is. If you're looking for a healthy way to eat a sloppy joe, this is the way to go. It's kind of odd eating beans in it, but it's a great way to get them into your diet. We serve it "open-faced" on whole wheat hamburger buns. It feels like we're cheating!

My office is doing a lunch co-op and I brought this dish. We are trying to stay at 5 points or less. No one could believe this was only 4 points and so filling and delicious.

I made this dish for my husband, who loves the canned stuff. He couldn't tell the difference and this is now one of his favorite dishes!!

This is so easy to make, and if you make a double batch and freeze however much you don't want in plasticware, it will keep for weeks.
It tastes best if you let it sit for a few hours or overnight after it's fully cooked.
Kids love it, my husband makes it with my daughter all the time.

This recipe is so incredible. My kids love eating these and my 8 year old son ate 2 full sandwiches while the 17 year old at 4. You know if your kids are eating it, it's a hit!

This is a great dish for those watching their calories/fat intake, yet want a "burger" type meal.
