This is a FANTASTIC recipe. Best sloppy joes I've ever had in my life. And, the best part, is that they make great leftovers. I make a full batch, and split the leftovers into single servings in little tupperwares, and take it to work with a bun. When you're a teacher and you only get 21 minutes for lunch, a delicious meal that heats up fast is hard to come by (it's especially nice to help me avoid the frozen dinner trap.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Hard to believe but I had never had these before and my husband can only remember his mother fixing them from a can. We both loved them. They were really yummy and so quick to prepare. Will definitley be making these again when I am rushed for time.

I cooked the beef and onion together in the skillet, then threw that plus everything else in the slow cooker for several hours on low. AMAZINGLY delicious. love them with dijon mustard and pickles!

Ive made this recipe a few times, and changing it according to what I have in the kitchen. My favorite rendition of this recipe would be adding 1 cup of lentils, using peppers in adoba sauce(after I open the can I freeze what I don't use, then I shave off what I need for future recipes. The adoba sauce is what makes the recipe:!!! Its very spicy so only use a small amt, and taste test. and to top it off I add a package of organic frozen chopped spinach. THis is a family favorite!!

When I made these, I used 2 small cloves of garlic, and it was perfect. Next time, I think I will use two jalepenos, since I was expecting more heat. Otherwise, the textures and flavors were amazing! I served it on a bed of lettuce with some grated cheese. Yum!

My picky son loves sloppy Joes so I thought I'd try and slip this recipe by him. He, my two nieces and my oldest son loved them. I thought they were very tasty and I felt good eating them.

I used ground turkey... I had to use the bottom of a fork to really get the turkey crumbling though... I had most of the ingredients. my hubby helped me make it. and although he is one of the worst picking eaters and as he was watching the veg that i had to chopped and add to the pan he still ate it and said it was really good. I try to chopped everything up really small. my 2 picky eating boys like them too. will keep this in my menus for sure.

Amazing Sloppy Joe recipe. This was delicious and healthy. Most recipes call for 2 cups of ketchup. Who needs all of that extra sugar? I already had all of the ingredients at home. Didn't even have to go to the grocery. Thanks Ellie
