My family really enjoyed this recipe but I thought it was just okay. Not sure if I would make again.

I made these last night with Ellie's Turkey Meatloaf. This is the way I will be making mashed potatos for now on. good flavor, creamy, no butter needed.

I never heard of steaming potatoes. I know that steaming is very healthy and quick. I tried these and loved them. I tried them with buttermilk instead of sour cream, they were delicious.

I know the importance of steaming vegetables instead of boiling them, etc., but I have NEVER heard of steaming potatoes! I will never boil them again after this - easy and keeps all the nutrients!

I used the Yukon Gold, steamed them, added Fat Free sour cream and just because I had it on hand a splash of buttermilk - (a new staple after watching Ellie each week. I can't believe how beautifully the potatoes creamed by steaming them.

I will make mashed potatoes for my family during the holidays this way - trust me they are harsh critics but I don't think they will even notice these won't have butter, cream and be boiled!

I ate the potatoes with the Pork Loin and Cherry Sauce in the same episode and it was just unbelievably delicious!
